JAMES B. LAWRENCE
Mr. Lawrence studied business at Ohio University and went on to hold high level management positions within two fortune 500 companies followed by a 25 year career as a retained executive search consultant. In 1989 Mr. Lawrence co-founded The Hamilton Group, which specializes in recruiting senior level executives for high technology corporations. In 2002, Mr. Lawrence underwent a lung transplant. The transplant awakened an interest in the research being done to eliminate rejection of donated organs and to prolong the lives of transplant recipients. In 2005, Mr. Lawrence participated in forming the Lawrence Transplant Foundation to fund leading edge research efforts to benefit organ transplant recipients. Mr. Lawrence lives in Great Falls, Virginia along with his wife and two sons. His two older children live on the west coast with their families. His lung transplant may have affected his handicap but not his lifelong passion for golf.
