Black Bean Avocado Salsa

Homemade salsas are a great way to add flavor to your meals or provide a healthy snack that showcases fresh seasonal produce. This Black Bean Avocado Salsa is a mild and versatile salsa that is sure to please even your pickiest of eaters.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 can black beans
2 cup fresh sweet corn
4 roma tomatoes
2 ripe avocados
1/2 cup red onion
1 jalapeno (optional)
juice of 1 lime
salt & pepper to taste


  1. Drain and rinse black beans
  2. Chop tomatoes, avocados, red onion, and jalapeno (chop the jalapeno very finely)
  3. Squeeze lime juice over the salsa, add salt and pepper and mix
  4. Enjoy on top of eggs, lean proteins, or with tortilla chips
