Healthy Chicken Nuggets

Raise your hand if your little nuggets are always beggin’ for nuggets! Try these healthy, kid-approved, baked chicken nuggets for a quick weeknight dinner! Give your kids what they want AND feel good about it!

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 lb chicken breast
1 egg
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder

 

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425F
2. Cut chicken into nugget-sized bites
3. Crack and scramble egg in a small dish
4. Coat each nugget in the egg
5. In a large sealed bag, mix the flour and spices together
6. Toss egg-coated nuggets in the bag and shake until the nuggets are evenly coated in the breading
7. Place nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
8. Bake for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway through
