Maple Apple Meatballs

These Maple Apple Meatballs are loaded with protein, fresh herbs, and crisp sweet apples. This meal is perfect for your weekly meal prep. 


  • 3 lb lean ground turkey
  • 3/4 cup yellow onion finely diced
  • 3 green apples finely diced
  • 1/2 cup parsley chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 oz sage chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients (except turkey) and stir
  3. Add turkey and mix to form a homogeneous mixture
  4. Form mixture into evenly sized meatballs of about 1/4 cup each
  5. Place meatballs on a greased muffin tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until they reach an internal temp of 165F

Recipe Notes

Optional: Increase oven heat to broil for the final 3 to 4 minutes of baking to form a caramelized finish on the meatballs
