Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Pork

Pull out your slow cooker and toss in these ingredients for a healthy Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Pork that is mouthwateringly juice and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 4 lb boneless pork shoulder excess fat removed
  • 2 small yellow onions diced
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 12- oz can tomato puree
  • 4 Tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup pineapple diced

Instructions

  1. Add pork, onion and pineapple to slow cooker set to high
  2. Whisk together remaining ingredients to form a sauce
  3. Spread evenly over pork and cook on high for 6 hours
  4. Shred pork with two large forks, removing any excess fat
