GET TOGETHER. GIVE TOGETHER.: A Recap of Life Time’s First Community Week

From October 11 through 17, Life Time held its first-ever Community Week, GET TOGETHER. GIVE TOGETHER. It was a week for Life Time members and team members to come together and support their local communities.

Community is already at the heart of Life Time. Every day, our clubs bring people together to move, connect, and build relationships. It is important to us that our members and team members find ways to make a difference in the communities where we all live, work, and play.

GET TOGETHER. GIVE TOGETHER. gave us a dedicated week to celebrate that spirit and amplify the good we can do together. Across Life Time, each club created its own opportunities to give back through service, movement, and community activities, including our new signature class, Unite the Night.

The results were incredible:

  • 175 clubs hosted Unite the Night

  • 9000+ members participated

  • 50 clubs participated in volunteer opportunities throughout their local communities

  • 540+  hours spent giving back to our communities

  • 220+ Team Members volunteered

This impact is a reminder that giving back isn't just something we do at Life Time. It's part of who we are.

Local causes, local hands

Across the country, Team Members built bikes for kindergarten students, packed meals for children facing hunger, supported food banks, collected winter coats and shoes, cleaned parks and trails, partnered with animal shelters, volunteered with assisted living communities, and supported organizations creating healthier, stronger communities.

Club spotlights

Some of the week’s most inspiring work happened right in individual communities. Here are a few highlights from clubs across the country:

  • Life Time Alston Town Center, Cary, North Carolina: Partnered with the Miracle League of The Triangle to host a baseball game for adults and children with special needs.

  • Life Time Commerce Township, Commerce Township, Michigan: Hosted a month-long book drive for the Children’s Hospital of Detroit.

  • Life Time Cypress, Cypress, Texas: Collected approximately 450 pounds of nonperishable food and bottled water for the Houston Food Bank.

  • Life Time Coral Gables and Miami at the Falls, South Miami, Florida: Removed 50 pounds of an invasive plant species from the Montgomery Botanical Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

  • Life Time Evanston, Evanston Illinois: Volunteered at the Evanston Animal Shelter, helping with cleaning and donations.

  • Life Time Fort Washington, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania: Hosted local Girls On The Run chapter for a day of wellness, strength, movement, and adventure.

Thank you

Thank you to every Team Member, member and community partner who volunteered, donated, participated and helped make Life Time Community Week: Get Together. Give Together. a success. Together, we showed what's possible when a community of healthy, happy people comes together to make a difference.
