Life Time Foundation awards Osborn Elementary School District $80K to Improve School Nutrition

In 2019, we awarded Osborn Elementary School District $80,000 in grants to use over three years to help improve the nutritional quality of school meals. This grant helps the district pay for blenders to make breakfast smoothies and other recipes and culinary trainings to improve the meal program, increase participation, program access, cultural inclusivity, and support student health and academic performance.

As part of the grant, we worked with Osborn Elementary School District’s Nutrition and Food Services staff to assist in providing high quality meals free from ingredients of concern. We are so proud to support Osborn Elementary School District as they work towards our common goal of enhancing the nutritional quality in their schools.
